Scott H. Stevens, Chairman

Mr. Stevens has worked on unconventional coalbed methane and shale gas/oil projects since beginning his career as a geologist with Getty and Texaco in 1983. He was instrumental in assisting the Government of Indonesia in developing the country's coalbed methane contract laws which saw the award of Indonesia's first CBM production sharing contract ("PSC") in 2008, the Sekayu PSC in the South Sumatra Basin. Internationally, Mr. Stevens has worked with global companies such as Chevron, ConocoPhillips, and BHP Billiton to design and manage coalbed methane exploration and production programs in North America, China, Poland, and Australia, including the successful identification of prospects, geologic and reservoir evaluation of acquisition targets, and completion of high production wells. In 2004 the Society of Petroleum Engineers published his industry-acclaimed study entitled "Indonesia: Coalbed Methane Indicators and Basin Evaluation" which helped to kick off Indonesia’s current CBM exploration boom by ranking onshore CBM basins in terms of geology, inferred reservoir quality, and proximity to gas markets.
